Objectives:
• To promote an informed electorate through political education.
• To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through political participation
• To foster cooperation among Alabama Women’s Republican Clubs.
• To support objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee and The Alabama Federation of republican Women.
• To work for the election of Republican Party nominees.

Support Our Military
The Greater Birmingham Republican Women voted to use money given to their Caring for America Fund, to support a military family in need of assistance during the holidays.
The club contacted the Army Reserve 81st Regional Readiness Command in Birmingham and was lead to a young family struggling to meet daily financial challenges. The club decided to pay some of the family’s delinquent utility bills to help ease their burdens.
The grateful family spent the holidays apart. The father, Jason Carter is serving in Iraq with an engineering battalion. The couple has two sons; 11 months and 4 years. Marika Carter is pictured here with her youngest son and members of the Greater Birmingham Republican Women.
